Weekly Meetings

Every Monday, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Whiteside County Airport

10930 Hoover Road Rock Falls, IL 61071

First timers:

What to bring:

  • Yourself, and your parent(s) if you (or they) would like.
  • Water.
  • Appropriate Clothing (bring a coat if it's cold, we will be outside!)
  • An open mind!

What to expect:

While generally meetings are fun, relaxed environments, on occasion there may be a tight schedule for staff to adhere to, so the atmosphere may be a little more strict as to ensure all deadlines are met. Expect to see a military type environment where high standards are expected and enforced towards the cadets. As a newcomer, you will not be forced to participate in any activity the cadets are doing, but participation is encouraged!

Who we are:

We are the Whiteside County Composite Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol.

What we do:

We develop our cadets morally, physically, and mentally through rigorous training programs designated by Civil Air Patrol's National Headquarters at Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama. Although we strongly encourage cadets to push their limits and better themselves, no cadet will ever be forced to participate in any activity if there is any safety concern or physical complication inhibiting participation.
